  • Reasons for the invasion of doubts in Muslim youths

A question was posed to Shaykh Abdul 'Azeez ibn Baz (rahimahullaah) in which he was asked, "What are the reasons for many young people deviating from the Din (religion of Islam) and becoming alienated from it?" The Shaykh replied: As you mentioned, many young people are deviating from Islam and becoming alienated from all that is related to the Din, and there are many reasons, among which are: Their lack of...

Adding To Something Good Is Not Always Good

Righteous actions are only according to righteous intentions, and a good intention does not make something which is futile correct. This is because intentions alone cannot make an action correct, but rather complying with the Sharee'ah (Prescribed Laws) must be added to that. [Refer to Madaarijus-Saalikeen (1/85) of Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullaah)] This article is an excerpt from "Al-Bid'ah wa Atharuhus-Sayyi fil...

    I, Me and Myself

There goes a famous dialogue in the Indian film industry these days which is “Never under estimate 3 things in Life – I, Me and Myself”. This is on the tongues of both young and old and they proudly utter this boastful statement to one and all, as and when required. Leave apart the non-Muslims, what is even more strange is the fact that, young Muslims of today have turned a deaf ear to their religion, and have bee...
